Romeo Chef & Baker truffle pizza was worth the splurge. The whole Prati neighbourhood felt way less hectic than Centro Storico

Vatican Museums skip-the-line tickets are essential, don't even think about going without them. Friday evening slots are only April-Oct btw

🤫Secret Tips

  • Vatican Museums are open Friday evenings (7pm–11pm) from April to October. It's the best time to visit.
  • Skip the restaurants immediately around St Peter's Square — they're overpriced tourist traps.
  • Borgo Pio is one of the few streets in the Vatican area that still feels authentically Roman.
