Vietnamese Women's Museum
One of Southeast Asia's best museums. Four floors exploring Vietnamese women's roles in history, culture, and war. The propaganda poster collection is incredible.

Café Đinh
10 min walk. Hidden above a bustling corner, this tiny café is where Hanoi's egg coffee was born. Order cà phê trứng and savour the creamy, sweet custard-topped coffee.

Thăng Long Water Puppet Theatre
5 min walk. A uniquely Hanoian art form — watch wooden puppets dance on water, accompanied by live traditional music. Shows run hourly and last 50 minutes.

Home Mộc
8 min walk. Beautifully presented Vietnamese cuisine in an elegant colonial building. The banana flower salad and caramelised catfish clay pot are must-orders.
