Tạ Hiện Street
Start on Hanoi's most electric nightlife street. Bia hơi bars spill onto the pavement, music blares, and the energy is infectious. Grab a bia hơi (fresh beer) and people-watch.

Bánh Mì 25
5 min walk. Hanoi's most famous bánh mì shop. Crispy baguettes stuffed with pâté, pork, pickled veg, herbs, and chili. They close when they sell out, so don't wait too long.

Bún Bò Nam Bộ Bếp Hằng
5 min walk. Legendary late-night noodle spot. Bún bò nam bộ is a dry noodle dish with crispy shallots, peanuts, beef, and fresh herbs. Addictive flavour, plastic-stool vibes.

Kem Bơ (Avocado Ice Cream Street Stall)
Finish with Vietnam's beloved kem bơ — rich avocado ice cream blended with condensed milk. Street stalls around the Hàng Trống area serve it fresh. A perfect sweet ending.

Tạ Hiện Street is INSANE at 10pm on a Saturday 🔥 Bánh Mì 25 is worth the queue — best bánh mì in the north hands down.
Disagree about Bánh Mì 25 actually — try Bánh Mì Phố on Hàng Bông instead. Less hyped but the pâté is wayy better and theres never a line
Both are good but Bánh Mì 25 closes early so go there first! We almost missed it at 8:30pm
This is the real Hanoi. Cheap, loud, delicious, and absolutely unforgettable. We ended up staying on Tạ Hiện til like 1am because the vibe was too good to leave
