MACBA
Barcelona's contemporary art museum. The Richard Meier building is a landmark. Rotating exhibitions and a vibrant skater scene out front.

Carrer dels Tallers
Steps from MACBA. Barcelona's best street for vintage vinyl, skate shops, and independent bookstores. Browse and discover together.

Bar Cañete
10 min walk. Sit at the long marble bar and watch chefs prepare Catalan seafood tapas. The razor clams and crispy artichokes are unmissable.

Bar Marsella
5 min walk. Barcelona's oldest bar (1820). Hemingway drank absinthe here. Dusty bottles, dim chandeliers, and a sense of history you can feel.
Comments
Bar Cañete was the standout — the prawns and the Ibérico ham were incredible. Sit at the bar for the full experience.
MACBA plaza is buzzing on weekends with skaters and street performers, great energy. Go inside for the exhibitions too though.
The current exhibition was brilliant when we went, definitely check what's on.
