Kayak in Amsterdam
Paddle a two-person kayak through Amsterdam's UNESCO-listed canals. Glide under bridges, past houseboats, and through the Jordaan's prettiest waterways. No experience needed.

Jordaan Canal Walk
Dry off and wander the Jordaan's most photogenic streets — Bloemgracht and Egelantiersgracht. Tiny bridges, flower boxes, and some of Amsterdam's prettiest canal houses.

Winkel 43
3 min walk. Famous for having the best apple pie in Amsterdam — huge slices with whipped cream. Also serves excellent Dutch lunch dishes and coffee.

Café 't Papeneiland
2 min walk. One of Amsterdam's oldest brown cafés (1642) on a perfect canal corner. Local beers, jenever, and legendary apple pie — the canal terrace is magic at golden hour.
Comments
Kayaking the canals was way more fun than a regular boat tour — you see everything from water level and can go wherever you want. We got splashed by a tour boat though 😂
Stick to the smaller canals like Bloemgracht, way less boat traffic.
Winkel 43 apple pie is unbeatable but the queue on Saturday was 20 min. Weekday mornings are way easier.
